Submission of abstracts

Abstracts must be submitted on the platform made available for this purpose by April 30, 2027, in Portuguese or English (Word format). After submission, the contact author will receive an email regarding the success of the submission. After evaluation by the Scientific Committee, the contact author will be notified of acceptance with the opinion of this Committee:

• Summaries (oral communications and posters) must include the identification of the thematic area and the following sections: theoretical framework; methodology; results; discussion/conclusions.
• • Title – The title must be concise, reflecting the general theme of the work. Calibri 12 letter in Bold, with single spacing between lines, centered
• • Authors – leave a space after the title and indicate the names of the authors and their institutional affiliation. The first author must indicate a contact email. Calibri 12 font with single spacing between lines, aligned to the left
• • Summary – leave a space after indicating the authors, write SUMMARY; on the next line include the text.
• The summary must reflect the work presented, indicating in a precise way, the objectives of the work, the methodologies used, the results and conclusions or final considerations, as well as bibliographic references. Calibri 12 font with single spacing between lines, justified
• The abstract must have a minimum length of one and a half pages (approximately 6,000 characters including spaces) and a maximum length of 3 pages (approximately 12,500 characters including spaces), including bibliographic references, (in APA version 7 style)
• • Page layout – top margin 3 cm; bottom margin 2.5 cm; left margin 3 cm; right margin; 2.5 cm.
• At the end of the summary, the thematic area to which the work is submitted must be indicated. It must also be indicated whether the presentation will be in oral presentation or in written poster format

Participants at the REALP Maputo 2027 Meeting may author a maximum of 3 works, only one of which, as first author, in oral presentation or poster format. Only the first author must submit the work, having to register. Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in a volume of proceedings, subject to peer review Oral communications will last a maximum of 10 minutes in order to prioritize scientific discussion. Posters must have a maximum size of 70 x 100 cm, in vertical format
